The Heart Of The Journey

We are Hugo and Giulia, the founders of Tasting Tour Algarve. Our journey began when we ran a small bed & breakfast and noticed something was missing: an authentic way for guests to truly connect with the real flavors of the Algarve. We asked ourselves, how can we share the genuine tastes that locals love?

That’s how Tasting Tour Algarve was born. We craft experiences that bring you the region’s authentic essence — menus and tapas just like the locals enjoy, far from the typical restaurant fare. Hugo, born and raised in the small fishing village of Burgau, brings his local roots, while I, Giulia from Germany, fell in love with the Algarve’s culinary soul. Together, we invite you to taste the Algarve as it’s meant to be: honest, local, and unforgettable.
